 * hello all.
 * i currently run a moderately successful wordpress.com blog. i would love to move
   it to wordpress.org – is this completely possible while keeping the domain name?
 * i have purchased hosting at bluehost already, and need to know the next step.

 * Yes is possible you can install wordpress.org site in bluehost and use temp url
   they gave you to access wordpress install.
 * Once you have all set up the way you want you can export your data from wordpress.
   com and import in your wordpress.org.
 * Change your urls in Settings>>>General to your domain name from temp.
 * Finally change name servers at registrar to point to bluehost.
