# WordPress.com cannot connect to Jetpack

 * I noticed that Jetpack and WordPress.com were not communicating on my site campwillowcreek.
   com.
 * I have disabled all the plug-ins. I have switched over to twenty-twelve theme.
   I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Jetpack. I continue to get the following
   error:
 * > Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
   > Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [
   > HTTP 404]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. 
   > If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: [http://jetpack.me/support/](http://jetpack.me/support/)
 * I am able to browse [http://campwillowcreek.com/xmlrpc.php](http://campwillowcreek.com/xmlrpc.php)
   and I have contacted my hosting provider who reports “There aren’t any blocks
   against WordPress.com on our server, your site is publicly accessible.”
 * I think this issue might be affecting my other sites hosted on the same server
   because when I browse wordpress.com/sites all my sites show a warning icon and
   a message that they are disconnected. Although I have not gone through all the
   troubleshooting steps with the other sites.

 * Can you elaborate more on what server side issue was causing your problem? Was
   your WordPress.com account able to access your site?
 * I’m having an issue using the Publicize feature, the connect button for any social
   media platform returns a 404 page – no Jetpack error messages or anything.
