# WordPress.com API

 * I’ve had some issues with getting WordPress.com Stats to work, and it still doesn’t
   work. I’ve tried to open a new wordpress.com account and enter that API key on
   my blog, but get this message:
 * > Error from last API Key attempt:
   >  The owner of that API Key (xxxx) is not on
   > the access list for this blog (xxxxxx). To be added to the access list, you
   > must contact support.
 * What to do, what to do…?

 * this isnt the forum for the answer to what to do.
 * wordpress.com issues have their own forum, and **yes**, this is an issue with
   wordpress.com 🙂 You probably want to contact s’one over there.

 * This is the reply I get at the WordPress.com forums:

   > com.

   > helpful.
 * So, who do I need to speek to then?
