WordPress won't do anything.

    Went to add some pages to my site today and when I tried to add a new page I got this warning: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/pg2732b/public_html/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 627 Skip to main content Skip to toolbar

    When I try and change anything on an existing page and press save, the changes do not take effect, the page remains exactly the same.

    WordPress says i’m running 4.2.2 and that I need to update some pluggins and my theme, but when I do it goes through the process and nothing has changed, and it’s still telling me to update.

    I need to work on my site urgently. Has a problem occurred with this wordpress update, or is this just me having problems? Can anyone help please?

    It appears that an update was being done on the Mysql servers and that was the likely cause of the issue.
