 * Hi Guys!
 * I am trying to install Word Press with SQL SERVER 2014 without luck. I got the
   configuration screen while installing the WordPress and after entering the necessary
   information , phase2 is screen is showing as blank.
 * I have spend lots of time to figure out what is going on. Where is the issue
   but the problem is that word press is not giving any error message. There is
   no log file generated also.
 * Your response is highly appreciated.
 * Thank you

 * Hi sumitkrsingh,
 * In wp-config.php try setting this to true:
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
 * That should help see errors.

 * I also don’t know much about your server environment but check and make sure
   its compatible:

 * What would the name of the database be?
    Struggling over here on this one part!
 * // ** MySQL settings ** //
    define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘wordpress’); // The name of the
   database define(‘DB_USER’, ‘root’); // Your MySQL username define(‘DB_PASSWORD’,”);//…
   and password define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’); // 99% chance you won’t need to
   change this

 * Exactly.
 * [@sumitkrsingh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sumitkrsingh/) WordPress
   will not work with MS SQL SERVER any version. Don’t bother to try, it cannot
   work. You need to use MySQL as written here.
