• Hi all,
I’ve had my site up and running for about a month now. The idea was to develop a wiki to share training techniques for helicopter pilots–something sorely needed in the industry, since most training is done by instructors with very little experience themselves. It’s a small audience, but I’ve gotten almost 1500 visits to date and the feedback from industry pilots (and the FAA) who independently found the site has been positive. Problem is, I’m not getting registrations or contributions to the wiki.

My plan was to use a blog on the front page to discuss things that didn’t immediately warrant a lesson (or to announce new lessons), and then have the training syllabi deeper in the site.

I’d appreciate any feedback on making it more user-friendly, or just giving me a reality check on the idea or it’s performance to date. In 2 weeks I’m headed to an industry meeting, and I’d planned on promoting the site while there.

You can see it here: wikiRFM.CyclicAndCollective.net

    Thanks

Hmmm, Google says I’m getting lots of WP traffic, but no response. Maybe it’s just something about me.
