WordPress Wiki, how to log in?

  • I tested it with firefox and IE, all I get is
    Invalid password or userid.
Yes, I also tried with quite esoteric user ids that shouldn’t be taken already, with empty passwords.

He’s using the WordPress Wiki, I’m having the same problems.

No password is needed – just make sure you use a WikiWord like Podz suggests…
Example: Nuclearmoose = bad, NuclearMoose=good; in other words, you need at least two capital letters and no spaces.

When I do that, just a user name as suggested in the bottom right corner, I get “You may sign in using any WikiWord as a UserId. (ÀñíçéàÖãæôßøü etc. may be used too). The UserId will be used as a link in RecentChanges to your UserId page, your HomePage.256 New users may use an empty password.”

I got it to work by using something like WordWords (notice the 2 capitals in it). Thanks for clarifying what a WikiWord is 🙂

    NoProblem 🙂
