 * After installing wordpress at localhost using WAMP i am getting error

   > not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server
   > administrator.) in C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-includes\update.php on line 295
 * WordPress is really slow because of this error.

 * Have you checked your computer’s firewall to ensure it isn’t blocking the communication
   attempts.

 * Try downloading a fresh copy of WordPress files and then replace the current 
   update.php C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-includes\update.php with the new one and 
   try again.
