  • if you have FTP access change the name of the plugins folder or the google analytics plugin folder.. just add a letter or something, not complicated

    if that doesn’t let you log in, then you have other problems

    if you’re having trouble finding the google analytics plugin – it is “monsterinsights” – just rename/ or delete it. you can try re-installing it. or use something different.

    My best guess is something in the process during the plugin addition clobbered your htaccess file or clobbered the admin directory.

    If you can figure out whose plugin you were working with when you were adding google analytics then maybe they’ll have some insights into this problem.

    Your host might have a backup and can restore that for you… that might be the quickest way to solve this problem if they have a backup.
