# WordPress use Gettext?

 * Hello,
    I wonder if WordPress uses Gettext for translations of key languages 
   If so I would know to build a module it is better to write keys in English and
   translate them into my language or directly write with my language? And do you
   use software Poedit or you translate by hand? Thank you
