# wordpress url problem

 * Hi all,
 * i’ve sucessfully installed wordpress, but when it was asking me for a directory
   to stall the wordlpress files, i’ve entered a new directory.
 * Now my website url is showing as [http://www.mywebsite.com/wp_files/xxxxxxxx.php](http://www.mywebsite.com/wp_files/xxxxxxxx.php)
 * I would like to remove the wp_files part. Can some body please assist, what i
   need to do and what files i need to update via ftp or is it a setting in wordpress?
