wordpress url problem

Hi all,

i’ve sucessfully installed wordpress, but when it was asking me for a directory to stall the wordlpress files, i’ve entered a new directory.

Now my website url is showing as http://www.mywebsite.com/wp_files/xxxxxxxx.php

I would like to remove the wp_files part. Can some body please assist, what i need to do and what files i need to update via ftp or is it a setting in wordpress?
