WordPress Upload Folders with many items

    Hello Wp Addicts!

    I have big problem. I have a site with ~ 2500 images, with all images sizes i have x 6, that means 15000 images.

    When i try to access from cpanel de uploads folder, it freezes. What to do to acces that folder from a browser. I have a nice hosting, with ssd’s,no problems loading my site. But when i try to access that folder, it all freezes up.

    I am the only one to have this glitch? I know that was better to have on months/days archive. But what can i do now? Is there a plugin to auto put in folders the images?

    Any ideea? Any Solutions?

    This sounds like an issue you need to take up with your hosting provider. If you need to access the files I would circumvent any browser file management and just go with a traditional desktop ftp client.

    Thanks for your answer.

    In the meantime, i had spoke with my hosting provider and he also recomanded to use ftp access. He was right. I was able to acces the files with ease. I am curious if wordpress has a kind of limitation like 100k files, 1M files, etc. Or this is hust limited by my hosting.
