 * Hello all!
 * I’m currently using DirectAdmin + Installatron. I have upgraded my wordpress
   3 times and each time when I do an upgrade (via installatron), this happens:
 * 1) sidebar.php reverts back to the original copy
    2) my plugins that have been
   activated are “deactivated” 3) my whole page looks like it’s been through hell
   until I log on and reactivate my plugins and reinstate sidebar.php
 * Any clue on how to prevent this from happening?

 * Other than doing a simple manual upgrade as described in the Codex… I don’t see
   any solution. Obviously, your tools always over-write all your settings.

 * Not sure cuz I haven’t used an Installer like that… but it probably deactivates
   your plugins as a pre-caution. It is recommended to deact all the plugins before
   upgrading (I usually don’t, and nothing bad has happened to me, but I keep back-
   ups just in case).
 * The sidebar thing is a bit weird, if you’re using a Custom theme. If you’re just
   using the Default theme, well, that theme has been changed with recent upgrades,
   so it’s giving you the latest version of the theme.
