 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus)(
no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/),
or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting
provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/
and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the
default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme
   functions can interfere like plugins).

 * I went to file manager wp-content themes and rename it but still having the same
issues. The theme Im using is oceanwp. I disable the plugin Ocean Extra and it
is fine but my homepage gets missup with this plugin disable.

 * In that case, I recommend using a different theme for now and reporting the issue
   at [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ocean-extra/](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ocean-extra/)
so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

 * There is absolutely no way we can test upcoming updates against all plugins (
currently 54,578) and themes (currently 7,503) in even just the official directories.
 * This is why we rely on plugin and theme developers to test their own products
during the lengthy public beta period, in this case almost 2 months: [https://make.wordpress.org/core/5-3/](https://make.wordpress.org/core/5-3/)
which are all publicly announced on the main blog at [https://wordpress.org/news/](https://wordpress.org/news/)
 * In this case, for whatever reason, this developer chose not to do their part.

 * This has been fixed in Ocean Extra 1.5.19, released today.
