I’m encountering a really big problem which would be resolved by now if only this latest update, which I assume was essential, were to be rolled out on a Monday or Tuesday but any day other than either late in the week or on a weekend.
You see, my webhost has some top-level admin stuff they do for security (LiquidWeb) and the latest version of WordPress has made it so that I can’t log in and neither can my customers. Normally, their experts who work during the week would handle this, but they’re not working and my ticket is a low priority. They won’t get to it until Monday.
Again, the problem I am having is not necessarily WordPress software, but with the day of rollout.
Is there some way that we could take the users into consideration and not roll stuff out on Fridays or Saturdays or Sunday? I realize now that I should have held off until Monday to do the update, but I really can’t be the only guy who has a webhost that might have some security that doesn’t work with the latest major upgrade for WordPress. Do you have to roll these things out when they aren’t working?
