# WordPress Update Issue

 * Hello guys,
    I’ve been trying to update my wordpress but it always get stuck 
   on either downloading or unzipping the folder.
 * Also when I try downloading any theme or plugin it does the same thing, it get
   stuck on downloading plugin/theme.
 * Please help.
 * PS I have tried download the dataaccess folder through FTP & adding something
   to it so it can work, I’ve used a text editor & uploaded the file again, but 
   still can not work, so I changed it back to the original file.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Try adding `AddType x-mapp-php5 .php`to the top of your WordPress .htaccess file.

 * Hello esmi,
    Thanks for your support man but it did not work, you told me about
   it in my previous post & I tried it couple times, but still did not work, what
   do you think I should do? is there any other way that you could help me out?

 * Do you have access to any errors logs? If so, checking them might help in determining
   where the problem is. Have you tried contacting your hosts?
