 * i’m going to guess that you just pressed the update button rather than follow
the instructions (BACK UP DATABASE, deactivate plugins, revert to default theme?)
 * you’ll need to access your server and try renaming the plugins folder to see
if that works. it sounds like the core has updated but everything else on the
   site hasn’t.

 * You can try update again but check out [https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress](https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress)
   and [https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_-_Extended_Instructions](https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_-_Extended_Instructions)
before you do anything. WordPress makes is super easy to update but sometimes
it is too easy and people neglect making backups, etc (Maybe you have).
 * If you can not get into the admin area but you have access to FTP, you can FTP
a new install of WP right over your old install. This will not hurt anything
but just remember to override and not skip.
