  • Hi hica23,

Did you happen to disable any of your plugins prior to upgrading? It is optional per the upgrade instructions, but happens to be one of the most important steps due to potential plugin incompatibilities with the latest versions of WordPress. Please see the article Updating WordPress for more information.

If you did not disable any active plugins, try this:

From your hosting control panel file manager or through an FTP program, rename the wp-content/plugins directory to something else. That will force all plugins to get deactivated. You will then be able to visit the administrative control panel. Afterwards, you can rename the plugin directory back to plugins.

    Hopefully this helps!

    Martin
