I’m also having a problem. Didn’t break my entire site, but the Order Detail page is refusing to display. In the right column, there’s a message that says the site has experienced a fatal error.
And since I updated the woocommerce database yesterday I can’t roll back to the previous version.
@mesmer7
You can safely go back to the previous version. The database update also works with the version prior to this latest update.
@wizy80
Thanks. You seem to be correct, I rolled back and don’t seem to be having any problems.
Ok we can roll back, but does anyone know from the error log why this is happening? We can’t stay on older version forever!
Hi @nicoll55,
Our developers are aware of the issue and are currently working on fixing it. Please check here to see if the suggested workarounds will work in the meantime.
If the workarounds don’t solve your issue, we recommend rolling back to version 8.5.2.
Thanks!
@shameem,
Thanks for the update, good to know someone is working on it.
Hi @nicoll55,
We’ve just released an update today. Why not upgrade WC to the latest version and check if everything’s working smoothly? More info: https://developer.woo.com/2024/02/20/woocommerce-8-6-1-fixes-to-issues-introduced-in-8-6-0/
Looking forward to hearing from you!
@ Shameem
Yesssss.. No issues after updating to 8.6.1.
Thanks to all involved.
Hi again @nicoll55,
We’re delighted to hear that the update to 8.6.1 has resolved your issues.
If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
8.6.1 doesn’t fix this issue. Btw… totally new site since a few days!
Removing these helped only for none logged in users (server cache fully deleted):
