WordPress to new server … dbase question …

I have may files backed up, and my database. I am changing my hosting provider, and I am retaining the same domain name.

I have created a new dbase on the new server. Before I upload the WP files, etc, how do I create the necessary tables in the dbase? Will the tables be created just by uploading the files. I realize the wp-config file needs to be edited before upload.
