WordPress theme site hosted in China

    Hello All,

    I am making a simple wordpress themed web-site for a client based out of China. The domain name & hosting for the site would be based out of China.

    Is there any checklist to consider while installing wordpress for a China based site, considering the internet censoring there?

    What all functionalities would be affected for a typical wordpress theme in China?

    Hosting in China won’t affect WordPress functionalities, but it may prevent others from viewing the site. That’s the problem with the censorship in China, it just blocks whole things.

    Just to be safe though, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.
