# wordpress theme missing post titles??

 * Had some probs with my site so contacted hosting site. 500 error was fixed and
   blog now up and running, but now the titles are missing to posts and the comments
   bar are at the start of posts instead?
 * I have manually added titles within 2 posts on the landing page, but please look
   at other posts to clarify the problem?
 * The titles and permalinks are fine and present within the admin area.

 * at the start of the loop in index.php, find the lines around this bit (a few 
   lines before and after):
 * `<div class="title"><!--index -->`
 * this code seems to be broken.
 * compare it with the same section of a the original theme; or possibly restore
   it from a fresh download of the theme: [http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/cleanroar](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/cleanroar)
