# WordPress theme issue !!

 * Hello there, I had a question about the lifestyle 4.0 theme, I am currently using
   it with wordpress 2.9.1 and can not seem to figure out how add thumbnail images
   to my post and page. I have tried using the custom field entry “thumb” however
   that simply just repeated the title of the post rather than placing a thumbnail
   image. I was hoping you could shed some light on this matter.

 * because I get an error that says “Unable to create directory D:\Hosting\5480102\
   html/wp-content/uploads/2010/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

 * Change the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have 
   problems, try 767 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions
   on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

 * the premission problem was fixed however, I still can’t place thumbnails on my
   main page, i just get the alt txt repeated.

 * Please don’t “bump”. Try adding the thumbnails via the Add Media option in edit
   Posts
