# WordPress theme filter url

 * This is in regards to feedback on the WordPress.org Theme Directory.
    It would
   be nice to have a direct URL to a filtered search on [https://wordpress.org/themes/tag-filter/](https://wordpress.org/themes/tag-filter/)
   When I send a client to that page I have to instruct them to check certain boxes
   before they see any themes, which can be confusing to someone who has never seen
   this web page before. It would be easier to pre-filter the results with themes
   I know meet some or all of their criteria (responsive layout, for example) by
   sending them to a direct URL like [https://wordpress.org/themes/tag-filter/?layout=responsive-layout&match=all](https://wordpress.org/themes/tag-filter/?layout=responsive-layout&match=all)
   That’s a simple example, but with many check boxes it can become cumbersome to
   instruct someone else to check a lot of boxes.
