  • So I think I have 2.1.3.

I run http://www.hermesnews.goldsteinmedia.com/. It’s my online blog/zine and it’s going great except for when the blog’s theme changes on it’s own. First it was to default but that changed when i deleted the default theme. Now it just goes to blank whiteness. This is very upsetting because HN is my baby and I don’t want it constantly taken offline.

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

  • Actually you’re running http://hermesnews.goldsteinmedia.com/wordpress/ That may be your problem right there. Go into Dashboard -> Options -> The 2 URL fields and make sure that’s what you have. The ‘www’ bit is incorrect as the ‘hermesnews’ bit takes the place of it (ie You don’t have two first names, do you?) and you need the /wordpress/ in there as well since that’s where your blog is.

I would also put back the default theme as wordpress falls back to that if there’s an issue. Like taking the Emergency room out of a hospital.

Please provide a specific link to where you;ve been seeing this occur if possible. You may be missing a theme file.
