Dear WordPress gurus, I need serious help in here. Thanks for your attention!

I’m currently using SyntaxHighlighter Evolved + WP 3.4.1 to post some LaTeX source codes. Not until today did I discover something truly terrible.

In LaTeX, lots of backslashs (\) are required. I’m puzzled to discover that on my home page (, I’ve set the article sticky as the first), the backslashes in the source code is displaying fine. However, when I click in the article, I discover that the backslashes in the article all get eaten!

This is so weird! It is crucial for me to solve this problem. Hope you guys can help me. Thanks a million!!!

  • I have found some solutions, yet they are for lower version of WordPress.
Please leave your opinion, if you have any ideas. Thanks a lot!

    Problem resolved myself.
After disabling “smart link” plugins, the source code went back normal again.

    This problem has been resolved.
Sorry for this repeating post, as I have to make this topic as resolved with an extra post.
