  • I noticed that the RSS feed of my WordPress blog includes my email address. Won’t this cause Spambots to pick up my address and overload my inbox?
I tried setting up an encoded email address in my WordPress profile, but I’m told this is not a valid address.
I tried putting a fake email in my profile (i.e. not@realaddress.com), but this means that I don’t receive emails when people comment and those who comment get a bounced email message.
Is there any solution to this? It seems like a big problem to me.

  • Even in the RSS feed? If so, that’s great.

check the source code 😉 to remove the leftover suspicions 🙂

I should have checked the source code first, but it didn’t occur to me that an RSS feed had a source code behind it. I’ve made a lot of stupid errors setting up Word Press, and there were times I wish I had more documentation, but it’s been a great learning experience and I’m very happy with the end result.
