 * Hi there,
 * Just a month ago, after being upgraded my website with Thesis theme, the **[WordPress Stats plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/)**
is screwed up. I did deactivate-remove-reinstall this plugin 20-25 times but
failed to catch the root of the problem. I tried both way, via FTP and from WP-
   dashboard.
 * I’m just seeing the message of **“400 Bad Request-nginx”** on my WordPress dashboard.
One more weird thing I noticed that I DO NOT see the WP stats plugin file source
in my website’s database fils while I see my database files through FTP or in
my host’s database. (i.e. Bluehost—>File Manager) even if I’ve properly installed
   it. Something is wrong there!
 * I’ve my API key on hand which I used for WP Stats plugin but don’t know how and
where to edit this API key in order to re-install this plugin.
 * Please note that I’ve read the WordPress API key support article and it didn’t
work out for me! I also did browse many sources on Google but found no success!
So, I asked your help. I hope that you got my actual problem.
 * I’m really fed up with this issue and I hope you could help me here. Please help!!
 * Your any kinda help and support will really be appreciated.
    Many thanks!

 * Try checking your plugins folder and manually removing any files/folders associated
   with your plugin.
 * Then download the plugin from here: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/)
 * and re-upload it to your plugins folder manually. Make sure to uncompress it.
Then you can use your dashboard to enable the plugin.
 * That should fix it for you but, if you continue to have problems, you may want
   to consider another stats program.

 * Hello, thanks for your reply. That’s what I already tried. I tried to find and
remove plugin folder manually but the problem is that I don’t see any file/folders
in my database even if I’ve installed it. Hope you get my problem.
 * Since I can’t find the plugin source anywhere so I can’t be able to remove it
   manually.

 * It’s been 2 days and no one bother to help out. I should not have EXPECT anything
   from this forum!!! Very bad!!

 * This is a free forum for a free software. No one is obligated to help. We do
so simply because we want to. 2 days is hardly unreasonable.

 * You shouldn’t be looking in your database. What I suggested is still valid and
still needs to be done. Follow through with it again. Even if you already did
download it and upload it manually, then you can always do it again. And, if
you did do so, then you really ought to be able to easily find it, since you’re
   the one that uploaded it.
 * Try again.

 * Your plugins folder is located in the wp-content folder of yours, btw.
 * If you still have problems, you may want to consider hiring someone to do it
   for you.

 * Man, you’re right that this is free forum and using free s/w and I didn’t expect
that anyone is responsible or obligated to help me. Unlike other forums (free),
I had an impression that someone will come up. I don’t blame you anyway. 🙂
 * And I’m fighting this issue more than a month, did try all the ideas from Google
search and from this forum’s earlier threads but found no success and finally
   I shouted here.
 * Again, I did try as per instructions to the dot. **But the weird thing is that
I don’t see plugin folder in wp-dashboard to enable the plugin even if I’ve installed
   properly.**
 * I think now I’ll need an advanced help from the expert.
 * Thank you so much for throughout help and support. 🙂

 * Try [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

 * Finally it working!!!! Don’t know what magic happened but the plugin is working
   now. I’m very happy.
 * Thank you for your help and concern. 🙂
