 * I am just analyzing my website performance and determined, that WordPress Stats
   is loading two different files:
 * [http://stats.wordpress.com/e-201343.js](http://stats.wordpress.com/e-201343.js)
   
   [http://stats.wordpress.com/g.gif?host=&#8230](http://stats.wordpress.com/g.gif?host=&#8230);
 * Is it not enough to load only either the JS-File or the GIF-File?

 * You will need both files. The first one is the actual Stats library, while the
   second one is a tracking pixel. You can read more about tracking pixels here:
