# WordPress slow

 * I have a WordPress blog page incorporated in my website [http://www.lastoilshock.com](http://www.lastoilshock.com),
   but find that WordPress is always the slowest page to load. Are there any obvious/
   easy ways my designer can speed this up?

 * I’ve just tested a few pages and I didn’t find it slow to load at all. Keep in
   mind that WP generates the output dynamically from the database, so in terms 
   of showing a page, it will always be a little slower than some static stuff.
 * Only a little slower.
