WORDPRESS site displayed half in IE

    Hello to all,

    I have a problem, i’ve downloaded the wordpress 2.6, installed, uploaded a couple of templates but.
    The problem is that in firefox 3 the site is displayed perfectly but in IE(7,6,..) it’s displayed just half(just the header part) in view source is all the code (header + body + footer)
    I’ve changed the templates but it was the same!!!

    Any ideas??

    Your site has mad errors. Try validating at http://validator.w3.org/

    thanks for the tip but what have the errors to do with the half page display in IE? in firefox 3 it displays perfect so it isn’t that errors fault! that’s my opinion

    You have 142 errors. All browsers interpret the code in their own way. IE is the most precious. If your code is all screwed up, your page will be also.

    Most of your errors will go away after you redo the posts where you copy/pasted from MS Word.

    If you must paste from Word, at least use the toolbar shortcut in your Post editor that will clean up all the gunk that Word adds.

    WHile at the post editor, click the right most button (Show/Hide Kitchen Sink). A second row of toolbar icons will now show up. One of those is “Paste from Word”.
