    How can I create a wordpress powered site that has no blogging capabilities. I have a potential client that wants a website that is easy to update, etc. But doesn’t want to know anything about code. I thought wordpress would be a good choice because the admin menu is relatively easy to use. However, the potential client is not interested in having a blog?

    So no blog, but with all the other good stuff, like pages, and themes, etc.

    this can be accomplished …. all you will have to do is take out the code that indicates: responses, leave a quote, date and time stamp, posted by “author”, etc.

    Depending on your exact requirements, WP can certainly be used as a CMS without any blogging features. A number of people have already done it. Perhaps start by reading this article:

    It’s a little dated but you’ll get the general idea.
