WordPress site will not Update

    Hello,
    My website is http://www.mikeboland.com and I updated the front page of the website called “Welcome” about 46 times before and now it will not update, I have read a few of the forums on this topic already and they told me to clear my cache and get rid of all of my plug-ins. I have done so already and the site still will not update. So I deleted my front page and added a new page, I copied all of the information onto the new page and made it my home page, but still it will not update. Help?

    In my hosting files, I added an index.html to hide wordpress while I am updating it.

    I have the same problem. After months of no problems, suddenly I couldn’t update certain pages. I found the problem by starting with a blank page and adding the text I wanted one section at a time…then updating. I did this until it wouldn’t update anymore. I finally figured out that if I have the word “services” anywhere in the text, it will not update. Earlier requests for advice told me to look at my security settings but we couldn’t find anything. To this day, I still can’t have the word “services” in any of my pages.

    Did your index.html work? Are you able to update?

    sjohnson010571, thank you for responding.

    The index.html works, and that updated the page, but when i take that off and try to edit the wordpress page, the wordpress page won’t update…
