# *wordpress site* search fixed???

 * I just put the following into the wordpress.org searchbox– “link import”
 * I specified both “documentation” and “support forum” which, I assume, are both
   on the WORDPRESS.ORG website. These were my first five returns–

 * Does anyone else see a problem with these returns??? Geez Louise, not ONE of 
   the first five is even close, and four of these links are offsite!

 * Thank you, podz. The first one did help.
 * Though I noticed even then that a lot of the returns are to totally unrelated
   things and many are off the site entirely. If I’m looking for support for *wordpress*
   and want to search wordpress.org documentation and forum SPECIFICALLY, I do not
   want returns from somewhere else diluting the returns that might actually be 
   helpful. Whoever “fixed” this needs to take another look. This is not what one
   would expect from a site that is supposed to be producing a superior web ap.

 * I seem unable to get any results from the forum, even if I only search that. 
   Am I missing something?

 * The trick (inhere) is to type the search, then on the resulting page, uncheck“
   Documenation” and make sure “Support Forums” IS checked. It always defaults to
   documenation.
 * (in general it has been working well recently, but I’ll agree that the last few
   days it has been a bit underwhelming)

 * Well,it seems to be working at least a LITTLE better now. Though relevancy is
   still marginal at best, at least it’s not pulling offsite links now.
 * Too bad, I was looking forward to blogging this on my site today . . . next time
   it’s broken I won’t wait, so it might be best to ensure it doesn’t get broke 
   again 🙂
 * After all, the community deserves a working support search.
