Hi Guys,

I wonder if anyone could point out why this is happening because I am frantically pulling my hair out.

For some reason my site is running incredibly slow and it has nothing to do with the server. I have stripped it of all un-nessacerry plugins but to no avail.

The site is http://www.talkbusinessmagazine.co.uk

If anyone could shed some light on this I would be eternally gratefull.

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks esmi.

Ill try this. I think It might be the case of trial and error.

I tried installing Total Cache and it slowed it down by 5 seconds! which seems strange.

Also with the mimify feature, does this affect SEO? As it drastically changes the HTML?

No – it shouldn’t impact your SEO.
