  • Hello, having same issue here!

Were you ever able to solve your problem?

Unfortunately, I never heard anything back from the plugin developers/support. I tried to backup the database and site and reloading it to no avail.

I eventually created a new database and WordPress site on the same hosting server and copy/pasted all of the page contents and media back in. It’s a shame – this plugin would have saved me a little time, but I find it hard to believe that all of this was just a coincidence considering that it happened the moment I installed the plugin.

It is very unlikely that replacing a file would destroy your WP site. I would need more details on how this would have happened, what was changed in the file system and the database to investigate it.

Well, actually, I think this very same thing just happened to me, too.

I successfully replaced my header using the “just replace the file” option, but now nothing below the header shows on posts and pages and the footer doesn’t show up anywhere at all.

I’m not 100% replacing the header is what caused it but it’s the last thing I did before I noticed it. I hadn’t checked the front end in a few hours, though, so it’s possible something else caused the problem — I’m exploring all options!

I’ve already uninstalled and deleted the plugin files, but that didn’t do anything, so I’m wondering if there are any changes to my theme files or something I should be looking for? Any help would be appreciated — thanks!
