# WordPress site keeps going down

 * The website is here: [http://intouchhome.com](http://intouchhome.com)
 * The website is setup with Pingdom.com to notify when it goes down and it constantly
   goes down for minutes at a time randomly with error 500.
 * The error_log is filled with lines like this:

 * And here and there this error shows:

   [

   headers: php-cgi
 * In the connection log there are sometimes lines like this which makes me think
   the issue is timthumb.php:

   scripts/timthumb.php?src=http://intouchhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Tori_Beaumont1.

   like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10B329 Safari/8536.25”
 * We’ve tried contacting the web host and asking them if they can help but they
   just say it’s the website and we need to fix it. I’ve checked the folder that
   timthumb.php is in and the cache folder is there with chmod 777 and the scripts
   folder that holds timthumb.php is also chmod 777. I’ve upgraded to the latest
   version of timthumb.php still no dice.
 * I’m completely at a loss as to how the fix the problem. Any advice could give
   would be much appreciated. Let me know if you need copies of logs or any other
   info.

 * I supposed that could be it, but the issue has been happening for months since
   I built the site. We use Cloudflare on the site and it hasn’t gone down today
   so it’s possible their fix to block these attacks has resolved the issue, but
   I’m skeptical. I’ll keep an eye on it and will update here if it keeps going 
   down.

 * May not be if it’s a longer term issue – just a thought. Where’s your site hosted?
