WordPress should set umask

  • WordPress generates the thumbnails for uploaded images in wp-admin/admin-functions.php with imagegif, imagejpeg and imagepng without setting a umask.
If you have a setup where php runs with a low privilege account different from the apache user, the generated files must be world readable..

WordPress should have a option to set which umask is being used.
