WordPress SEO options no longer accessible on home page

    WordPress version: 3.5.1
    Wordpress SEO: 1.4.4

    I upgraded to version 1.4.4 and since then can no longer access the WordPress SEO by Yoast options on my home page which is using a template developed as part of the theme. The ‘WordPress SEO by Yoast’ title appears but nothing happens when I click on the toggle to expand the options. For, all other pages using the ‘default’ template, I can access the options.

    Please help. I need to change the meta description as I am no longer offering my ebook for free which is what the description for my home page is currently showing. Can I go back and reinstall the previous version?
