[Resolved] WordPress SEO by Yoast – Force rewrite titles

  • Hi Guys,

I’ve installed WordPress SEO by Yoast, and I must say I’m really satisfied until now :).

I only have a few issues, since I don’t know exactly what the functions do, and I hope that you guys can give me a clue :).

On the SEO plugin under “Titles”, there is a button named: “Force rewrite titles” – does that need to be on, to get the SEO plugin to work? Because when I Enable it, it doesn’t show me the Title when openening my homepage, but as soon as I don’t turn it OFF it does.
Also all the title templates, META Des Temlpate and META Keyword Template on that site, do I need to fill that out?
On every page I manually type in the SEO title the META description and also the META Keywords so it’s more specific than just a some standard words on every single page.

So my question is: Can I leave it all blank on that page? Except for the Title, META Description and META keyword for the homepage, as long as I type all that stuff in under every single page?
