# wordpress search problem

 * whenever I try to search on the WP site, I get a
 * “XML Parsing Error: xml processing instruction not at start of external entity
   Location: [http://search.wordpress.org/templates](http://search.wordpress.org/templates)
   Line Number 63, Column 36: (‘templates’, NOW(), ‘thisisaw’, ‘<?xml version=”1.0″
   encoding=”UTF-8″?>”
 * anyone else have the same problem?

 * See the pink hilited post at the top of the forums “[How to Search the Forums](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/60178?replies=1)”
   as a work-around.
 * Maybe someday the WP folks will wander back to the .org world and fix some stuff.
   Until then, the stuff in that post works well.

 * Keep in mind if you’re using that info to search for something regarding a 2.0
   situation, you should look at mostly any post IDs from 50000 up.
