WordPress redirects to hostgator c-panel

  • Hi everyone,

My domain name (sleepydough.com) is registered with godaddy.com.. I have hosting with hostgator and have set my nameservers at godaddy to hostgator as instructed.

I purchased the link redirect with wordpress to redirect my wordpress address (sleepydough.wordpress.com) to (sleepydough.com). WordPress has asked me to put their nameservers at godaddy.com and replace the nameservers from hostgator?

All I am trying to do is use wordpress to create my site, use hostgator for hosting, and godaddy for domain registration.

How do i resolve this issue?

I think that right now, your site is set up at WordPress.com. If that’s the case then you don’t need hosting. WordPress.com takes care of that for you.

This is the WordPress.ORG support forum, you can get support for WordPress.COM at http://en.support.wordpress.com/
