WordPress Redirects Post method on homepage

    This is really strange. I have custom form. It’s action set to home_url. When I submit it, it redirects (301) to homepage and method is GET now. But if I remove home_url from action it’s fine. I can’t access $_POST because wordpress redirects it. Is it a security reason or bug?
