It sounds like something bad happened to the mySQL server itself. Do you have backups of your missing databases?

How did you try to use it? Does your database have tables in in when you look in phpmyadmin?

yesterday it had tables and they had full size. maybe the server’s owner touched something.
now the tables are there but they are all 0KB…. the mysql itself is 0KB

i did restore backups on direct-admin.

Until the server’s owner fixes the SQL, you’re SOL. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

But seriously, it seems like the MySQL server is corrupt and that’s at a level above WordPress. You can’t fix your site until the server is fixed. Or you may want to find another place to host your site(s).

    well this is messed up,
i found out that in the root “/var/lib/mysql/pkurbxhv_megawp/”
i have all the tables and their content in idb and frm files
i moved to another server and the mysql show me the tables but still think they are empty, or “not exist in engine”.
there is a way to extarct the content of the tables from ibd and frm files?

This is a MySQL question, not a WordPress question. Moving those files is *not* the way to move a database. You need to dump the DB from one and import into another.
