# WordPress reader

 * So I just switched from a pieceofparadis.wordpress.com to self-hosted apieceofparadis.
   com on Blue Host still running WordPress. I’m just checking because I’ve seen
   contradicting information. Are my posts still supposed to show up on WordPress
   reader, because they’re not. Which I don’t understand because I know I follow
   sites with custom domains on wordpress and they show up in the reader. Just asking
   because I didn’t know this before switching and a lot of my views come from the
   reader. Thanks.

 * The WordPress.com Reader is mostly for WordPress.com blogs.
 * If you have installed and connected the [http://jetpack.com/](http://jetpack.com/)
   plugin on your new self-hosted WordPress.org blog, then your posts will still
   appear to anyone who had subscribed using the WordPress.com Reader if you transfer
   them over [http://jetpack.com/support/subscription-migration-tool/](http://jetpack.com/support/subscription-migration-tool/)
   but things like Tag listing and the Discover section are only available to WordPress.
   com blogs.
 * To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different
