# WordPress random dashboard bug

 * Hello,
    Today, while I was working on a blog, my admin dashboard randomly bugged
   after I clicked on the plugins section. The admin dashboard appears grey on the
   left side, instead of having all the menus(like appearance, settings,etc.) and
   it has parts of the plugins menu page on the right side, randomly appearing around
   the page. If I scroll enough, I evenutally get to the real dashboard but again,
   there are random chunks of the plugins page here and there. I am including a

   It appears that way in Chrome and Safari, so it’s not the Chrome browser bug 
   I guess. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

 * I am not able to load the image you provided. Can you please tell us if there
   was an error message/code. If so, what was it?

 * There was no code. I just clicked on the plugins section of the menu and wordpress
   dashboard broke down. Today, when I logged in again, it seemed fine. Later i 
   found out the wpbakery visual composer doesn’t load on my pages, and I can’t 
   use it to edit them. I went to the plugins menu again to deactivate it and activate
   it again and it broke down again. So, now both my wordpress is broken and my 
   visual composer doesn’t work and I can’t edit my pages.

 * Looks like the Visual Composer is a known deal: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-45-master-list?replies=7#post-8268201](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-45-master-list?replies=7#post-8268201)
   and need to upgrade it to 4.11.2+.
