    Hello Optimole team!

I am currently trying to import/export listings (custom post type) from a website (live) to another (local staging). However, because the image are in Optimole’s cloud, the WordPress Importer cannot import the posts’ attached image.

Of course, I could simply rollback the images on my live site then let the WordPress Importer download the images normally, but this will impact the live site performances, as well as take a good amount of time since there are thousands of images on the site.

Is there any way I could rollback only specified images, or make that the WordPress important displays the images that are from my optimole cloud?

    Thank you!

    Hi @nazrinn,

Our team is investigating the problem related to importing/exporting images as if you’re exporting and importing posts using the built-in WordPress functionality and not another 3rd party plugin it should work for the cloud images as it would with normal images, please confirm that you’re using only the default WordPress functionality.

Regarding the ability to roll back specific images – if you check the images in the media library and hover over one image you can see this option: https://vertis.d.pr/XsvWUD .

Also, if you select one image (you can select as many as five images) you can then pick one action from the bulk actions https://vertis.d.pr/oDZqgv

    I hope it helps!

Interesting. I was unaware this was a bug. I thought it was just an Optimole quirk.

I confirm. I only use the WordPress importer to import images. I never did it otherwise.

When I import posts with the “attachment” option checked during import, medias usually do not import with the post, but I’m thinking this might be the WordPress importer not playing nice with Custom Post Types or media inside an Elementor post, or simply the media isn’t associated to that specific post.

I figured the individual rollback option. However, is it possible to rollback more than 5 images at the time when in the media library in list view? Thanks!

Yes, that’s correct, only 5 images maximum at the time can be selected.

Is there any plans to make that limit higher?
