WordPress plugin hosting – I’ve been waiting over a week

I wrote a WordPress plugin that I submitted for WordPress to host. This was over a week ago, and it is still listed as a pending request. Last time I did this it was accepted within a day. Is this a usual waiting period, or is there some way I can speed this up?
