# WordPress plugin disable reason/notes in my dashboard

 * When i disable some WordPress plugin but want to leave it available for the future(
   not delete it), i would like to write a note with the reason why this plugin 
   is there so later i know why it is disabled or why it is available.

 * Yes, i can use yet another plugin to add custom note to a Plugins list page. 
   But better would be to add the inline note for each plugin, by default. Feature
   request for this [is here](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65465).

 * If you want to suggest an enhancement to core, post a suggestion at core.trac.
   wordpress.org. But, if you want this anytime soon, look for a plugin.
